Harry

Yesterday, Manny sat on the couch all day. Also, he was eating a bag of Doritos. I like Doritos, I think they are a tasty treat that can't be beat, so I asked Manny if I could have some. Manny hesitated for a second, before agreeing, he said "Okay, you can have a little, but this is my only food for the week."

I decided not to take any. I wouldn't want Manny to starve. As we all know, every growing boy needs his Doritos.

Also, Manny finally learned how to read, so he's now re-reading all the Harry Potter books. I tried to slap the book out of his hand, because that's how I roll, but I failed because Manny had a death grip on the novel. He looked at me and yelled "Hey, don't hit Harry."

And I stopped and took a look at Manny, carring a 700 page book in his hands, and I felt ashamed.

See, I'm mean to Manny, but sometimes he does things where I can't help it. Harry, however, had done nothing wrong. Harry may just be a book to you and me, but Harry is Manny's friend. And although I may hate Manny with a passion, I can't take that out on his friends. After all, we are all brothers and sisters, we are all human beings (or in Harry's case, a book).

So Harry, I would like to extend my deepest apologizes to you.

And Manny, well, I have nothing to say to you. I hope you are enjoying your Doritos feast.
