Manny isn't that bad.

I have to give credit where credit is due. As Tarik explained eloquently in the previous post, Manny was kind and generous enough to lend me his CVS card in my moment of need earlier this evening, and I would like to extend my thanks to Manny. I would also like to offer a note of congratulations on his historic Game 4 victory in his race against Tarik. It's not every day you see a homeless guy who moves like an injured dolphin finish first in a race. It reminded me of watching the whale break free at the end of Free Willy. It was exciting and riveting to watch.

Some may be curious to what each of us bought. I picked up some orange juice and Nutrigrain bars, Tarik got some toothpaste, and Manny picked up an electric razor and some school supplies. I have to say that at least Manny is taking the steps to improve himself. He got a haircut recently, and now he's learning how to shave. Next step, stop stealing clothes and food from garbage cans. After that, reading a newspaper instead of using it for a blanket. Final step, world domination.
