Manny's laugh

We refer to Manny as a joke assassin. One reason is because he tells bad jokes that no one understands. Another is because he sometimes takes sarcasm or irony or parody seriously, which makes me think that he probably doesn't understand those concepts.
But the most important reason of all is because Manny uses a weapon of mass destruction that destroys almost anything that is remotely funny.

His laugh.

There are certain things that will remain funny no matter what. There's South Park, Arrested Development, Manny's face. Those are, and many other examples such as Nacho Libre or Manny's walk, that will stand the test of time. Those are the highest levels of comedy, because they can still remain funny despite the fact that Manny's joke killing laugh ruins everything.

However, there are many other things that aren't on that level, that are funny but Manny's laugh ruins. There's Scrubs, a good TV show that I don't really watch, and can't watch, at least in the apartment. This is because Manny's joke killing laugh makes me want to murder Zach Braff, instead of laugh along at his silly antics. There's the Peyton Manning Mastercard commercials, which are normally charming and delightful, but when mixed with Manny's laugh, it's just pure death. In fact, I feel that Manny's laugh is a reason why Peyton Manning and the Colts lost to the Chargers two weeks ago, which is why I'm planning on sending Manny youtube clips of Tom Brady's SNL performance from last year (Let's go Giants!).

There are many victims of Manny's joke assassination, including some Family Guy episodes, Katt Williams standup comedy specials, etc. I feel sorry for them. These examples of comedy bring joy and laughter to lots of people. Unfortunately, that also includes Manny. And Manny's laughter is enough to make a clown cry.
